Golf and Yardage “In Golf, Knowing the Yardage is Important”
Find one player who disclaims this statement. At least once during a round, every golfer looks for the 150 spot or mark. Almost every golf course displays stakes, trees, bushes, “pop-ups” or “tombstones” as 150-yard indicators. Yet at the majority of the world’s courses, players simply do not know, “from-where-to-what,” was measured. This situation contributes to confusion and doubt. Players should not have to ask or wonder where the 150 yard marker is, it should be as easily recognizable as the flagpole.
